Jose was born in Arizona. He entered the Independent scene in Arizona, in 1998, working as an extra in several Major Motion Pictures.

Jose worked his way up to lead and supporting roles in direct to video films with several released in 2007 and several more slated for 2008 and 2009. Released highlights include the lead in "I Got Five On It" opposite Todd Bridges, lead in "Illegal Business", lead in "San Franpsycho" opposite Joe Estevez, and "Death Row". Jose also plays a lead in the Lions Gate horror film "Machined."

Jose plays a role in the recently released Motion Picture "Jolene" Directed by Dan Ireland, which stars Rupert Friend, Chaz Palminteri and Denise Richards.

Jose plays two characters in the up-coming Lions Gate release horror/thriller "Sportkill." And Jose returns with Todd Bridges in the sequel "I Got Five On It Too".

Jose had the opportunity and privilege to work with the late Lindsay Shonteff, playing a lead, on his last film, the soon to be released "Angels, Devils and Men" which included production in London, England and Paris, France.

Jose just wrapped the Western/Comedy "Mad Mad Wagon Party" with Academy Award Winner George Kennedy.

Another soon to be released Feature Film, and lead role is "Running on Empty.

Jose is involved with the 6 Short Films Compilation/Feature Film "Locker 13" as an Actor, Writer and Producer.

Jose worked the Motion Capture, Facial Capture and did the Voice for a main character in the THQ Inc Video Game "Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights".

Jose has also added writing and producing to his credits, with the short film "Skeletons" finding its way onto the festival circuit soon. Jose wrote and co-directed the short film "Win, Lose or Draw". "Indebted" received 8 Official Selections across the country, written and directed by Jose.

Jose has small features in the 2006 Winter, Spring and Summer issues of MovieMaker Magazine.
